The lis of top 10 games of 2008
The top ten selling games in the Japanese market of 2008 will sure to make the fans of Sony and Microsoft disappointing, revealing as they do an almost embarrassing dominance by the resurgent Nintendo:
1. Monster Hunter 2nd G
2. Pokemon Platinum
3. Wii Fit
4. Mario Kart Wii
5. Super Smash Brother Brawl
6. Rhythm Tengoku Gold
7. Dragon Quest 5
8. Hoshi No Kirbi: Ultra Super Delux
9. Doubutsu no Mori
10. Wii Sports
The PSP manage to top the position, with there popular but internationally infamous game Monster Hunter Series games which sold about 2.5 million copies.
A DS Pokemon follow up with a sale fo 2.1 million copies, next is Wii Fit having over 2 million copies released.
Lastly the PS3 with the so-called top rank title game Metal Gear manage to sold 650k copies
